Boise Music Week: The Music Man

May 17th - 20th, 2018 | See Showtimes Here
The Music Man follows fast talking traveling salesman, Harold Hill as he cons the stubborn citizens of River City, Iowa into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys band he promises to organized, despite the fact that "he doesn't know one note from another!"  He plans to skip town with a bulging billfold until he falls for Marian the Librarian, who transforms him into a respectable citizen by the booming finale. Russian Food Festival
May 18th & 19th, 2018 | Fri: 11AM - 9PM Sat: 11AM - 8PM
It's once again time for the annual trek over to St. Seraphim Russian Orthodox Church to taste authentic traditional homemade dishes at their annual Russian Food Festival. This year’s menu will include beef stroganoff, shish-kebab, stuffed peppers, Russian crepes, piroshki, chebureki, borscht, salads, and an assortment of desserts. There'll also be an opportunity to meet and watch a local iconographer as he paints, as well as guided tours of the church. More info here!

 

Treasure Valley Tattoo Convention

Indigo Art Festival

May 19th & 20th | 10AM - 8:30PM

Indigo Art Festival will showcase artwork from various artists, including artists that have used art as a form of therapy for mental illnesses. Attendees can enjoy and understand the positive benefits of the arts within our community and gain a better understanding and support of mental health awareness. This event is perfect for all ages and supportive of those with mental health issues and those that have close relationships to someone with mental health issues. More info here!

 

Marsing Wine and Art in the Park

May 19th, 2018 | 11AM - 4PM
Located along the Snake River in the shadow of Lizard Butte this community festival has something for all ages. The local wineries will be there for your pleasure while you wander through 40+ local artist and crafter booths. Birds Of Prey will have their birds on display and a children's activity area. A local farm will have a Llama to pet and hot rods will be on display by the stage. Live music will be playing all day and a variety of food choices available from local food trucks as well as a beer vendor. More info here!

Landlocked Motorcycle Show

The event will be held at the legendary Mardi Gras in downtown Boise and will feature the finest of machines, live bands and various vendors. WaterShed Weekend 10th Anniversary Water Festival
May 19th, 2018 | 10AM - 1PM
Celebrate the Boise WaterShed’s 10th Anniversary with festival activities, water games, cupcakes, and a trout release. Join local engineers to launch water rockets, race your friends through a hydraulic maze, build your own filter and win prizes, all while learning about the water cycle and water treatment. Take a tour of the water renewal facility and stay after the activities to release more than 100 rainbow trout into the Boise River at 1! Hike is 1-mile round trip on a gravel path. 2018 Youth Diversity Prom: A Night Under The Circus Top

Come for a night of fun, dancing and entertainment as you celebrate a Night Under The Circus Top at the Youth Diversity Prom, presented by Boise Pridefest. This year will mark the fourth year of the event, and is the only Diversity Prom held in the state of Idaho, and one of the largest events in the northwest for the LGBTQIA youth community.
