People in the West Ada School District got their chance to weigh in on the search for a new superintendent tonight.
The Board of Trustees held a meeting to discuss results from a district survey and allow people to share their thoughts.
The search is underway of course after former Superintendent Linda Clark resigned amid ongoing problems with members of the board.
People who spoke tonight say honesty and integrity are at the top of their wish list for a new superintendent.
"I would hope that you would find a superintendent through the interview process and references and everything else really have a history of integrity and being consistent with their words and actions," said one speaker.
"As far as communication is, what is honest. Here are my goals as superintendent. Here is what I am doing, here is who I've put in charge and here is my voice,” said another.
If you missed tonight’s meeting but want to share your thoughts the Board of Trustees will hold another public meeting Monday, November 30th at the District Service Center at 1303 E. Central Drive in Meridian at 5:30 p.m.
