Another hot spot for eclipse viewing is Weiser. With thousands descending on the small town, business owners are hoping to cash in after a rough winter.
From T-shirts and hats to a special eclipse themed cookies from the Weiser Candy Company, the folks there are excited about the increase in foot traffic, but it hasn't been as busy as expected.
"It hasn't been too bad. Yesterday, in fact, I posted a Facebook post and said, 'where are all the people?' They were coming in, but it was just steady slow and then this morning they started coming in pretty quickly so it's picking up more and more during the day," said Linda Roundtree, the owner of Arrow Creek Clothing.
Other business owners say even if traffic on the roads does pick up, the town is definitely prepared to handle it.
