Here are a few ideas if you're still looking for something to do this weekend!

Friday is the 44th anniversary of the Old Idaho Penitentiary being open to the public as a museum! Between noon and give you can get in the museum for only one dollar for presentations, guided tours, or self guided explorations of 101 years of Idaho and prison history.

If you procrastinated on holiday shopping, head on down to Kleiner Park in Meridian and finish up at the second annual Procrastinators Dream Christmas Event on Saturday. You can find a gift for everyone on your list with the homemade crafts and goods that will be featured at the event. And bring your kids along with you, Santa Claus is expected to be making an appearance! The event starts at 9 a.m.

Plus, the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery is celebrating the holidays in conjunction with Wreaths across America. On Saturday starting at 10 a.m., there will be a short ceremony and then visitors will place wreaths throughout the cemetery. This is a great family event to honor our veterans, so dress warm and bring your mittens.
