For 15 years, Caldwell High School graduate and University of Washington-great Cody Pickett held the record as the all-time leading passer for the Huskies. On September 29, that all changed. Senior quarterback Jake Browning broke Pickett's record in the second quarter of a matchup against BYU.

But Pickett isn't taking the news of his position in second in the record books negatively. Instead, the father of three, who moved back to Boise after his professional football career was completed, released a video congratulating his alma mater's new record holder.

Pickett was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in 2004, even starting two games at starting quarterback in 2005. He also played for the Houston Texans and Oakland Raiders, as well as NFL Europe and Canadian Football League teams. He now works in the Treasure Valley and coaches the Eagle High School girls basketball team.
