They served our country, and this holiday season, Idaho veterans are being served in return.
Today at the Idaho State Veterans Home, a group of AARP members volunteered their time, wrapping gifts for veterans to open.
Some of those gifts were cartons of chocolates donated by local businesses.
Starting Monday, the organization is holding a donation drive at the Idaho State Veterans Home to supply homeless veterans with winter clothes like gloves, scarves, and coats. It's all in an effort to ensure every veteran can unwrap something special this holiday season.
