Utility worker shot at twice, Owyhee County officials are searching for the shooter

GRANDVIEW, Idaho — Officials are investigating after a suspect allegedly attempted to shoot a utility employee.

Owyhee County Sheriff's officials say a subject emerged from a field near Beet Dump Road near Grandview, Idaho around 10:25 p.m. on July 6 and fired two shots from a gun, striking a utility employee's vehicle as he tried to drive away.

The employee was uninjured.

Officials were not able to get a positive description on the suspect.
