Boise Police officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of North 28th Street in Boise’s North End Monday morning for a report of a suspicious package.
According to an Ada County dispatch supervisor, the package was discovered about 8:40 a.m. by a business operator in the neighborhood.
However, after investigating, officers found the package to be nothing more that tent poles. “The ones that snap together to form the frame of a tent,” said BPD spokesperson Haley Williams.
Police are still investigating.
No further information was released.
