MERIDIAN, ID — A Nampa man has been arrested after witnesses spotted him outside a Meridian Walmart brandishing a gun.
Meridian Police officers responded to the Walmart on Overland Road Sunday afternoon on a report of a man pointing a gun across the street at the Wahooz Family Fun Zone. Turns out –- the weapon was only a BB gun.
No shots were fired and no one was injured.
Jay Patton, 24, was taken into custody and booked into the Ada County Jail.
Police say he had a warrant for his arrest of a previous felony drug charge.
