Nampa Police and the Canyon County Coroner’s Office have identified a couple found dead following a shooting in Nampa Tuesday morning.

Shortly after 9 a.m., Nampa Police dispatch received a call of shooting that had taken place in a home in the 1900 block of West Flamingo Avenue in Nampa. The home is in the Silver Crest Estates subdivision.

Officers responded and tried to contact the occupants via phone. When no one answered, the officers forced their way in.

Police found “an elderly, married couple inside the home. Both were presumed to have been shot. The male is identified as Harry L. Price, 83. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The female is identified as Eunice K. Price, 82. Eunice was transported to a local hospital, where she died from her injuries,” said Nampa Police Sgt. Tim Riha.

Both lived in the home.

The case is being investigated as a homicide/suicide, Riha said.
