IDAHO CITY, Idaho — Two people are behind bars on felony charges after police found a large amount of child pornography, meth, paraphernalia, and restricted firearms in a Boise County home.

Police say the Boise County Sheriff's Office and the Idaho City Police Department served search warrants in reference to a Lewd and Lascivious allegation at a home on Miners lane in Idaho City on May 17, 2019.

The suspects, 49-year-old Jeremy Hansford and 41-year-old Bessie Peterson, each has a $500,000 Boise County felony warrant for their arrest.

Officers are asking anyone with children that may have gone to the house, or have information regarding the suspects to contact the Boise County Sheriff’s Office at 208-392-4411 and speak with Chief Otter or Sheriff Kaczmarek.

Officers seized the pornographic images, firearms, and other substances for analysis.

The suspects were taken into custody in Las Vegas Wednesday. They will be extradited to Idaho after their arraignment.
