Two people dead in motorcycle crash on I-84

BOISE, Idaho — Two people are dead after a motorcycle crash east of Boise. The crash happened around 12:08 p.m. Thursday at milepost 67.

63-year-old Douglas Renaud, of Caldwell, was driving east on I-84 on a 2006 Honda GL 1800 Motorcycle. 56-year-old Jacqueline Cramer, of Emmett, was a passenger on the back of the motorcycle. Renaud left the interstate on the median side and overturned the motorcycle.

Crame died from her injuries at the scene. Renaud was transported by air ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise where he died from his injuries. Next of kin has been notified for both families.

Renaud and Cramer were both wearing helmets. The eastbound left lane of I-84 was closed for around two and a half hours.

The crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
