Two men remain hospitalized tonight after a two-car crash on Chinden boulevard. Investigators believe drugs or alcohol may have played a factor.

It happened just before 9:30 Friday night near Chinden and 44th street.

Police believe 55-year-old Christopher abbot was exiting a parking lot when he was struck on the driver's side by a large pickup truck heading westbound on Chinden.

Abbot was ejected out of his car and onto the roadway. A passenger in his car was also hospitalized with injuries.

Due to the extent of injuries and evidence found at the scene the Ada county crash reconstruction team responded to investigate.

No charges have been filed at this time.
