Two arrests for outstanding warrants made at Idaho Statehouse

BOISE, Idaho — Idaho State Police troopers arrested two men Monday morning after they were identified as being the subjects of outstanding arrest warrants, according to a news release.

The men, identified as Robert J.R. Jones of Nampa and David M. Pettinger of Eagle, both had misdemeanor warrants for disturbing the peace.

ISP says Jones was arrested as he stood near a small group of people at a tent in front of the Capitol around 10:39 a.m.

Pettinger was arrested as he and a small group of people entered the inside ground floor of the Capitol around 11:47 a.m., according to the release.

Both Jones and Pettinger were booked into the Ada County Jail. Both warrants stem from investigations done by the Boise Police Department.
