A Twin Falls man is dead after he was hit by a car near Shoshone street in Twin Falls Saturday night.
Police say 72-year-old Lavere Larson was driving southbound on Shoshone street around 10:45 p.m. when he struck a pedestrian standing in the middle of the roadway.
The pedestrian, 56-year-old Frankie Godwin, succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Next of kin has been notified.
