Students from The Boise Rock School will be opening for Edmond Dantes at the Alive After Five! summer concert series on July 6, 2016, at 5pm at the Basque Block.

It is the first time the Boise Rock School will be entertaining a Downtown Boise audience.

"Alive After Five brings people together through great music in a cool, vibrant downtown setting. What better way to celebrate community than by having some of our youngest musicians take the stage," said Lynn Hightower, Director of the Downtown Boise Association, the downtown business organization that sponsors Alive After Five.

The four young musicians who will open for this week's Alive After Five are all between the ages of 11 and 13. Penny Barnett will begin the set. Penny is a soloist on her acoustic guitar. The 3-piece rock band Petram Essence will follow Penny. All are students at Boise Rock School.
