Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps starts training for 2019 Drum Corps International

NAMPA — The Troopers and Drum Bugle Corps have made their way to Nampa where they will practice for the next month in preparation for the 2019 Drum Corps International Tour.

These students come from all over the country and over the next month they will rehearse for twelve hours a day to perfect their ensemble.

Being a part of a drum line takes a team effort as these musicians work will practice finding their rhythm while beating the drums.

"It's just something you grow to love, I started in high school," said Jack Nevin from San Diego, CA. "The tour is one of the funnest parts of the summer when things start moving quicker, it becomes very exciting."

There will be a performance in Boise later this summer, on July 9 the Drums Across the Rockies show will be held at Eagle High School's Thunder Stadium.
