UPDATE: US-30 between Lava Hot Springs and Soda Springs has reopened. If you are planning on driving through that area, ITD warns to look out for snow and drifting snow on the roads. The weather station in that area is reporting that there is slush on the roads, so be careful if you are going to be driving through that area.

The Idaho Transportation Department has shut down US-30 between Lava Hot Springs and Soda Springs due to high winds and low visibility.
No word yet on when the highway will be reopened, but check ITD's website for updates on road conditions before you travel!
