UPDATE: Two people are in the hospital after a four-vehicle crash on westbound I-84 near the Middleton exit.

Idaho State Police say 41-year-old Jason Sherman was driving a Chevrolet Silverado pulling a trailer, 62-year-old Donald Jacobs was driving a Lexus, 21-year-old Stephanie Youren was driving a Ford Fusion, and 31-year-old Quan Clestine was driving a semi-truck pulling a trailer.

All of the vehicles were driving westbound on I-84 when Sherman struck the rear of Jacobs' car. His car then hit Youren and Celestine's vehicles.

Jacobs and his passenger, 60-year-old Connie Jacobs were taken to the hospital. Their conditions are unknown.

All occupants were wearing seatbelts.

Original Story: Idaho State Police are responding to a crash, where at least three vehicles are involved, near the Middleton exit (milepost 23.5) on westbound I-84.

The call came in around 4:00 Saturday afternoon.

Idaho State Police say the left lane of the interstate is blocked at this time.

The conditions of the crashes, and whether there were any injuries has not been released at this time.

Dispatchers say another crash on eastbound I-84 is also causing delays near the construction on the interstate around milepost 22.

If you're traveling in the area, expect delays.
