BOISE, Idaho — Six people, four of which are juveniles, are in the hospital after a crash on I-84 near the Franklin exit in Boise.

Idaho State Police say 23-year-old Anthony Williams was driving westbound on I-84 around 3:13 Saturday afternoon in a Subaru Impreza when he rear-ended a Mazda MZ5 that was driven by 32-year-old Benjamin Hawks.

The Mazda was in the second left hand lane when it was hit, then drove across both right lanes, struck the barrier and stopped in the far right lane. The Subaru spun onto the right shoulder.

Hawks and his passenger, 33-year-old Nerici Palacio, along with four juvenile passengers were taken to the hospital. All occupants were wearing seatbelts. The extent of their injuries is unknown.

The right three lanes of travel where blocked for about an hour.
