The Canyon County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal tractor accident southwest of Caldwell. It happened at approximately 10 A.M. Wednesday morning on Lowell Road near the intersection of Chicken Dinner Road.
Witnesses told deputies the tractor was traveling west on Lowell Road, moving a fruit conveyor from one field to another. According to investigators, the driver lost control of the tractor and it rolled on its side, pinning the driver under one of the rear wheels.
The driver has been identified as 27 year old Ismael Loera of Caldwell. Loera was the only occupant on the tractor and died of his injuries at the scene.
