Three vehicle crash on Highway 22E claims life of Boise motorcyclist

On Saturday, August 11, around 9:10 am, Oregon State Police Troopers and emergency personnel responded to a three vehicle crash on OR-22E near milepost 71.

Authorities say that Gregory D. Gummere (64) of Boise was traveling on a motorcycle westbound on OR-22E when for unknown reasons crossed the centerline and clipped an eastbound minivan operated by David Privratsky (62), of McMinnville, OR. The motorcyclist then hit head-on with a SUV, operated by Caleb J. Pilling (33) of Beaverton, OR.   

The Boise Motorcyclist, Gregory D. Gummere, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.  There were no injuries to any other persons involved.
