The Nampa Police Department has a warning for residents: don't leave your cars unattended while warming them up in the morning.
The department said in a tweet that three cars were stolen this morning, bringing the total to seven cars stolen while warming up since the beginning of the year.
The tweet goes on to suggest drivers use an extra key, use a remote starter or clear out the garage to make sure their cars are locked while warming up.
