Some key political figures in our area are playing an elaborate game to fundraise.
Representative Mat Erpelding joined together with Councilwoman Lauren McLean and Diana Lachiondo to put on the third run for progress event. Members of the community get to run through the foothills, following clues and trying to catch up with the leaders. The point of the run is to get people admiring the lands and start casual conversations about the future of our area.
“When you think about politics, you forget the foothills, our public lands and all our open space is a result of really good work done by people in the city and this a fun way to remind people of that," said Erpelding.
Diana Lachiondo is the guest runner for this year’s event and she’s running for Ada County Commissioner.
