The Force is strong in Boise as Fans flock to see the latest Star Wars Movie

The force is strong in Boise. Hundreds coming out Thursday to be the first in the Treasure Valley to watch Star Wars Episode 8: The Last Jedi.

Wookies to Stormtroopers fans of the series tell 6 On Your Side they've been waiting all year for this day.

A local real estate company also using the film to thank their customers. The Mike Brown Group bought tickets for all of their clients who have purchased a home with them in the past year, 1,200 tickets in all. The Company also partnering with some die-hard fans who dressed up in costume and posed for pictures.

"I was talking to some people tonight I went and watch Star Wars when it was first in the theater an older couple they were fans and I've talked to little kids that I can barely see in costume they love it and it spans generations," said Brandon Winters who dressed up for the movie.

Star Wars fans tell 6 On Your Side they are excited to find out what happens to their favorite charters and see actress Carrie Fisher on the big screen on last time.

Many showings of the film are already sold out. Edwards 21 is doing a midnight showing and 3:50 am screening at the Imax.
