NAMPA, Idaho — UPDATE (8/8/19): The open house is being extended and will now be open from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Nampa City planners have sketched out some preliminary biking and walking paths, and they want your opinion.

An open house is scheduled for Thursday, August 8, at the Nampa Public Library from 4:00-6:00 p.m.

The city wants feedback, especially from the people who will actually be using the pathways.

“You know, it’s easy to work on a plan," said Nampa Mayor Debbie Kling. "The real key is that we actually walk it out and we get it done, and so, this is why it’s important that the bike and ped plan aligns with our overall transportation plan and gets incorporated into our comprehensive plan. The goal is to get it done.”
