BOISE — The Albertsons Boise Open is gearing up for their 30th golf tournament at Hillcrest Country Club, the tournament starts on August 19.
Not only has this tournament brought some of the best golfers in the world to Boise, but over the past three decades this event has raised $23.5 million in charity for our community.
"Even on my most optimistic day I can not imagine standing here 31 years later with the same title sponsor, said Albertsons Boise Open Executive Director. "It is just a dream come true and it is because of this amazing community."
The Albertsons Boise Open also continues to implement a fan friendly experience, for example fans can cheer for golfers to get a birdie on a par five which will give fans an opportunity to purchase a half-priced beer.
The tournament will also welcome country music superstar Justin Moore who will perform on August 24.
