A 24-year-old man has been cited for inattentive driving after checking his cell phone and hitting a home on Tuesday night.
The driver, identified as Corey West, was not hurt and there were no occupants inside of the home that was damaged in the 300 block of South Stroebel Road.
Kuna Police were contacted by a citizen just after 7:30 pm on Tuesday following the crash.
West told police that he lost control of the truck while checking a text message. The truck went off the side of the road and knocked over a fence. The truck went about 150 feet before hitting the home.
