Boise Police officers are on the scene of a shooting in the 2300 block of Palouse Street, in which several shots were fired and one person was injured.
It happened about 10 a.m. Thursday near Overland Road and Vista Avenue.
One person was taken to a hospital in a private vehicle. The extent of injuries was not immediately known.
Police believe the suspects are no longer in the area,
Shortly after 12 noon, Boise Police tweeted: “Officers are not looking for anyone in the Palouse neighborhood and the public is not believed to be in any danger. Investigation ongoing.”
“Preliminary reports suggest there was an altercation in the home before multiple shots were fired and the suspects fled the scene,” according to a BPD news release.
