A suspect was injured in an officer-involved shooting in Boise overnight.
Boise Police say they were called to the scene of a business on Fairview and Maple Grove around 11:30 p.m. because of some people who were acting suspiciously. When they got to the business police say a male suspect ran away and refused to stop. Officers say as they chased after him on foot he showed a gun and continued to refuse police orders.
They caught up with the suspect on the 9200 block of Fairview and police tell us during that confrontation officers were forced to open fire. The suspect was taken to the hospital, no word on the extent of his injuries.
The Ada County Sheriff's Office will lead the Critical Incident Task Force investigation.
