Subway restaurants in the Boise area have donated hundreds of sandwiches to be delivered by the Metro Meals on Wheels charity to homebound seniors in the valley.
"This has been a savior for us, since we both are a little bit incapacitated, and my wife is, and so this, meals like this-- that Paul brings-- are really appreciated Paul. You better believe it," said Leo Compton, Meridian senior and recipient of the meals.
Metro Meals on Wheels delivers and serves over 900 hot and nutritious meals each weekday, and 750 meals every weekend to homebound seniors throughout the Treasure Valley.
