Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic coming back in 2021

If you want to get a first hand look, the balloons will lift off from Ann Morrison Park every morning through Sunday. Wednesday is kids day, and is sponsored by Capital Educators. Around 25 balloons will take children up into the air for a tethered ride. The Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic is back for 2021.

The 30th Annual Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic will begin with Kid's Day on September 1 and go through September 5 at Ann Morrison Park, organizers of the event announced Tuesday.

The event comes after a year off due to COVID-19 safety concerns. After originally planning to host the event, organizers later announced the 2020 event was canceled.
