The 101st Snake River Stampede entered its final night with a sold out crowd. Rodeo organizers say over 8,600 people came out to watch professional cowboys and cowgirls compete during the rodeos final night. Over 700 professional riders competed for the $440,000 dollar purse. Tonight events include Bronc riding... barrel racing... and of course bull riding. Event organizers say the Snake River Stampedes hometown appeal makes it such a popular rodeo. Ken Nicodemus says, "it's just been a hometown rodeo and it always has been, and we're top ten rodeo. It’s a fun event there's a lot going on all kinds of things you can do."
