Six people have been arrested by the Boise Police Department following a two-week investigation of possible narcotic violations, firearm offenses and gang-related activities on the Boise Bench.

Officers from the Boise Police Gang Unit, Boise Area Narcotics and Drug Interdiction Team and the ATF started investigating multiple subjects involved in alleged illegal activities at a residence near South Hilton Street and West Targee Street.

A warrant was issued from the Ada County Prosecutor’s Office and the search warrant was served on December 17th  at 12:27 am.

SWAT operations were called in, “due to the possibility of weapons being inside of the home.”

73 grams of a crystalline substance that tested positive for meth was found inside of the home.

In addition, two firearms and ammunition was found to be in possession by one resident identified as Jefferey A. Arguello, 46, Boise.

Four other suspects were found inside of the home at the time of the warrant and all six suspects were transported to the Ada County Jail with the following charges:

- Jefferey A. Arguello, 46, Boise was charged with intent to deliver of a controlled substance and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

- Selena C. Thom, 22, Boise was charged with failure to appear, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and frequenting a place where a controlled substance is used.

- Monica R. Garcia, 33, Boise was charged with frequenting a place where a controlled substance is used.

-John J. Bernal, 31, Boise was charged with frequenting a place where a controlled substance is used.

- Francisco T. Bautista, 20, Nampa was charged with frequenting a place where a controlled substance is used.

- Carmen D. Becerra, 24, Boise was charged with frequenting a place where a controlled substance is used.
