Idaho State Police troopers, Boise Fire crews and paramedics are on the scene of a car which has rear-ended a semi.
It happened shortly after 8 a.m. near the Orchard Street exit on Interstate 84, southeast of Boise.
An ISP dispatcher says the vehicles are at the end of the eastbound on-ramp of I-84.
Drivers are asked to avoid that stretch of the Interstate if possible.
This is the second accident in two days involving a car which rear-ended a semi. On Monday night, lanes of Interstate 84 near Meridian were blocked for nearly two hours when the driver of a Mazda 3 rear-ended a semi.
The Mazda erupted into flames. But when rescue crews arrived, the driver had already fled the scene.
The driver remains at large.
