Searchers have located a man missing in the foothills north of Boise.
Ada County and Boise County Sheriff’s Office deputies -- as well as teams from Idaho Mountain Search and Rescue -– began searching the foothills Friday morning for an overdue and missing motorcyclist.
The search was conducted in the area of 8th Street and Ridge Road near the Ada County/Boise County line, according to an Ada Country dispatcher supervisor.
The man was located shortly after 9 a.m. Friday along a remote trail in the area. He was found near his dirt bike, which evidently had become stuck, the dispatcher said.
His condition was unknown, but it appeared to be okay.
No further information was immediately available.
