Saturday marks first Boise Kind Day

BOISE — Hundreds of volunteers will take part in the first "Boise Kind Day" on Saturday, June 22. Volunteer events, community gatherings and a clean-up of the Boise Foothills will help launch the event.

Volunteer events take part all day long at the following locations in Boise:

  • Gorongosa National Park Exhibit Prep, Zoo Boise, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Morley Nelson Community Center Garden Care, 7701 W. Northview Street, 9-11 a.m.
  • Nottingham Park Spruce-Up, 5243 N. Decatur Drive, 9-11 a.m.
  • Veteran’s Memorial Park Greenbelt, 930 N. Veterans Memorial Parkway, 9-11 a.m.
  • Whitney Community Center Garden Care, 1609 S Owyhee Street, 9-11 a.m.
  • Williams Park Spruce Up, 201 W. Williams Street, 9-11 a.m.
