Safely Back to School town hall on K-12 education

IDAHO — Coming up tonight at 6:30, Michelle Edmonds and Idaho Education News' Kevin Richert will be hosting a Facebook Town Hall discussing K through 12 education. The town hall is part of our Safely Back to School series.

You will have the opportunity to hear from health experts and educator leaders during the Town Hall. The Facebook Live starts at 6:30 p.m.

Here is a full list of the experts expected to be on the panel:

  • Dr. Amy Khan - Regence Blue Shield Executive Medical Director
  • Dr. Marie Gessel, St. Luke’s Pediatrician
  • Gina Pannell - Central District Health
  • Diana Lachiondo - Ada County Commissioner and a CDH board member
  • Nicole Sarty - 5th grade teacher at Galileo (West Ada) who has piloted an online classroom this summer
  • Julie Underwood - Kimberly High School Teacher
