Update: 6 On Your Side has confirmed Saeed Abedini is back in Boise. His wife, Naghmeh, tells us Saeed is not only back in town he has also seen his kids.
Abedini has spent the past five days at the retreat, after being released Jan. 16th from an Iranian prison where he had been held since 2012 –- for reportedly trying to establish Christian schools in the Muslim country.
Abedini, 35, was released with three other Americans in a deal struck between the United States and Iran.
Naghmeh and the couple's two children were originally scheduled to fly to North Carolina Monday to meet him. no word on why the family’s plans had changed.
Calls and e-mails to Naghmeh were not immediately returned.
