Rooftop clearing crews needed in Ontario

Besides the thaw out and risk of flooding, heavy, wet snow piling up on rooftops and collapsing is also a big concern for folks in Ontario, Ore.

A Boise-based business has been contracted to keep all of the Ontario School District's rooftops free of snow, and they need more help. They're staying busy and need more help.

Sub-contractors without work right now are encouraged to team up.

Anyone who thinks they'd be a good fit can learn more at the city's employment department office Thursday, Jan. 19. You can sign up from 8-10 a.m.

Applicants may be asked to start as early as this weekend.
