Volunteers rock for a cause at the Scentsy Rock-a-Thon every year.
This year, it's an effort to build the new Booth Marian Pritchett School for pregnant and parenting teens. For 12 hours, Scentsy will donate 250 dollars per hour for every person who rocks at the Rock-a-Thon.
The money will benefit the Salvation Army with all the funds going to the new school. The Treasure Valley Salvation Army coordinator says the hope is to break ground soon.
"Right now we anticipate having a ground breaking sometime the middle of October and we're really praying that we can actually occupy a new building the summer of 2019, so we can start the fall of 2019 with our students in a new facility," said Major Robert Lloyd, Salvation Army, Treasure Valley Coordinator.

Volunteers are encouraged to wear red in support of the cause.
