It's been nearly a week since some flooded out residents in Eagle received bad news.
Those who have moved back into the Riviera Estates anyway are getting some relief.
Drinking water has been donated, and on Thursday more portable restrooms were brought into the neighborhood bringing the total to six. A locally owned company in Nampa will service them weekly for free.
"They need it, they don't have running water or flushing toilets. So, if we're able to provide our clean restrooms and help them out... that's why we have them down there," said Kindra Butera, the administration manager at Porta Pros. "We wanted to help the community and just maybe raise awareness for other people to help as well if they can."
Things won't get back to normal at the mobile home park until the utility systems are thoroughly checked out once the area dries out. Residents were told on June 3 to not expect this to occur for at least one month.
