NAMPA, Idaho — Two public open houses will be held this week so that citizens can comment on and learn more about the I-84 expansion in Canyon County.
The open houses will focus on the road work from the Franklin Blvd. interchange in Nampa to the Franklin Rd. interchange in Caldwell. Construction in Nampa is scheduled to start again in February.

- Tuesday, Jan. 22 from 4-7 p.m. at the Nampa Holiday Inn (16245 N . Merchant Way)
- Wednesday, Jan. 23 from 4-7 p.m. at the Caldwell Best Western Plus (908 Specht Ave.)
The Idaho Transportation Department says it plans to invest more than $300 million over the next several years into I-84 in Canyon County to improve safety, mobility, and economic opportunity.
