Boise Parks and Recreation is asking for your input regarding new design ideas for the iconic hill in Camel's Back Park.
Scientists said that due to rain and heavy use, the hillside is eroding and changes need to be made to the chute before it gets more dangerous.
A public meeting will be held in the park picnic area Thursday night at 6 p.m.
The design change ideas will likely include a series of walls, steps, along with more vegetation.
Parks and Rec have allocated $115,000 from their budget to make the changes.
If you are unable to attend the meeting you can still submit comments to the project coordinator Toby Norton at tnorton@cityofboise.org or call 208-608-7635.
