BOISE, Idaho — The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare is accepting comments on the so-called "work requirement" restriction on Medicaid expansion.
The 30-day public comment period also includes two open hearing in September. One will be Tuesday, September 3 at the State Capital from 1 to 3 p.m.. The other is Friday, September 6 at the Joe Williams Building, also from 1 to 3 p.m..
Idaho voters approved an expansion program last November, months before the legislature added the restrictions. This is the second round of restrictions subject to public comment.
