If you mail them First Class by December 20th, your packages will arrive by Christmas. The 21st is the deadline for Priority Mail.
The last day you would be able to mail something out for Christmas, is the 23rd with Priority Mail Express.
The Nampa post master says the postal service anticipates a busy year and they are working hard to deliver all of those packages.
"We're forecasting this year, for Idaho to deliver about two point one million packages which is about a 19 percent increase from last year and last year, we doubled the year before so we're delivering a lot of packages," said Henry Medel, Nampa Postmaster.
According to the postal service, the busiest day for mailing will be this Monday, the 19th and the busiest day for delivery will be Thursday, the 22nd.
The Nampa postmaster also wants to remind folks to make sure to write legibly and have the correct address to ensure those packages arrive on time.
