Police: Shot fired inside Nampa home

Posted

Nampa Police are investigating a shooting that happened about 9:45 Tuesday night at a home in the 500 block of Chesnut Street in Nampa.

According to Nampa Police Department Sgt. Tim Riha, “We believe the shooting was the result of a disturbance -– an argument -- between two males inside the house.”

No one was injured. “And no one was shot at,” Riha said.

Police retrieved one bullet casing. Riha said there were three adults inside the house when officers arrived, but the person believed to have fired the shot had already fled the scene.

“The witnesses are cooperating, but we do not have a suspect at this time,” Riha stated.
Police are still investigating.
