Posted
Two men are on the run after a single car accident turned into a shooting Sunday night in Malheur County.

One man was shot in the head before the suspects took off.

Police are still searching for 35-year-old Daniel Bermudez Miranda of Ontario, and 22-year-old Felimon Guillen Montaz, Jr. of Payette.

Deputies say the two suspects and another man were in the same car when it crashed into a ditch.

Around the same time, witnesses told authorities they heard gun shots.

The two suspects ran from the scene. The injured man made his way to a nearby house where neighbors assisted with first aid until medics arrived.

He was transported to a hospital in Ontario with a bullet wound to the head.

No word yet on the man's condition.

If you see the two men you are urged to call 911.
