UPDATE: Missing Meridian man has been located

MERIDIAN — UPDATE: Meridian Police say McKane Cole has been found safe. They tell us he was found by a family member about 3 p.m. Thursday.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Meridian Police are asking for the public’s help in locating McKane Thomas Cole, 21. McKane was last seen about 10:15 p.m. Wednesday when he left his home in the 2200 block of Sicily Drive in south Meridian.

Police describe McKane as a “very high functioning (young man) who has Asperger’s.” He does not have a vehicle or cell phone.

He is about six feet tall and weighs approximately 158 pounds. He has short red hair and green eyes. “He was last seen wearing a dark green Columbia jacket and a sweater underneath, jeans with the cuffs rolled up, brown and black hiking boots, and black ankle socks,” said Meridian Police Department Deputy Chief Tracy Basterrechea.
