Police arrest Boise bank robbery suspect in Ontario

UPDATE: Police have made an arrest in connection with a bank robbery earlier this week.

Police say they received several tips from the public, and through their investigation they identified the robbery suspect as 57-year-old Jeffery Marrese of Ontario, Oregon.

Police took Marrese into custody at a motel in Ontario Wednesday.

Boise Police are searching for a suspect in connection with a bank robbery on the 1100 block of S. Vista Ave.

Police say the suspect demanded money from an employee and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash around 2:30 Monday afternoon.

Officers set up a perimeter but weren't able to find him.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 50's. Police say he's about 5’8” to 6’ tall. He did not have teeth and was wearing two hats, a beanie and a baseball hat.
